The story of Baby Genius begins with two individuals who met, fell in love, and decided to have a baby… or so they thought. It took five years of infertility, tenacity, and IVF for Josh and Clare, our founders, to become pregnant, but their dream finally came true when their beautiful baby daughter was born. The couple share a passion for style, craftsmanship, and usability, and were surprised to discover none of the baby diaper bags on the market lived up to their quality standards and offered all the neat extra features they envisioned as being useful for new parents.

Driven to find the best baby bag for their baby, our founders soon realized they would have to create something truly unique that met all of their high standards for the perfect baby bag. United by their shared passion for all things practical and sleek, combined with their desire to push the limits of what a diaper bag could be and do, they set about to create a company that would delight every new parent coming after them. Thus, Baby Genius was born, as well as our flagship product, the Baby Genius Backpack.
